What's going on with the fountain in "The Green" park? I've been living here for several years, and always thought the fountain made our neighborhood a bit different. It's been off for a while, but no one seems to know why.

Yard of the month: I think this would be a great idea to spark friendly competition, and make our neighborhood look even nicer!

We could get local businesses involved.

Does anyone agree?

I agree. When is the fountain in the Green going to be running? I've lived here several years and it is rarely functioning.

when will the pool open? If not soon maybe we should think about saving the 35grand we are spending on repairs and just close it permantely.
I sure the new security systems will work, after all, they have stoped anyone from using the pool this year!

ALL,

I encourage you all to start a letter writing campaign about the proposed filling of the wetlands for the new school to be located near Carver Elementary.

Regardless if you have been paying attention to this issue or not, the Board of Education has not done the proper studies to make sure that their project won't negatively impact our community.

We need to write letters to the Corps of Engineers stating that we at least get a public hearing about this matter so we can ask questions about it and its potential impact to us.

Note: This is an urgent matter, the request letters were due on Sept. 30th, but none of us was properly notified by the Corps or the Board of Education because they were trying to get this FILL PERMIT approved without us knowing anything about it. They did not even talk to the City of Richmond Hill about this matter. The Corps of Engineers has agreed to extend the period for 2 more days to seek public response. PLEASE WRITE YOUR LETTERS NOW!

If you have any questions about this, please contact Stan Knight at the Corps of Engineers, Savannah District Office, 912-652-5348.

I have copies of the 38 pages of information regarding this project, they are located at my office on HWY 17, just past the train tracks on the right side in the building that says NEW HOMES in the 2nd floor windows. Please contact my assistant Darlene Albright at darlene@sugarmagnoliahomes.com or 756-4014 if you would like a copy for review.

Dogs do....

OWNERS MUST!!!

Please pick up your dog's waste! The common areas of our community are for everyone! Dog ownership is your right but it is my right to walk through my neighborhood (even walk my dog!) without having to step around your filth! It is unsanitary, it is unsightly, and it is aganist the law.
Please do your part. CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS!!!!
