Neighborhood Talk: Fountain At The Green

Here is a recent post from a Mainstreet Neighbors Blog reader:

"It is my understanding that the fountain has been repaired multiple times (Fountains and Such in Savannah). We would all love to have a functioning fountain but this might not be workable.

The original workmanship must have been pretty shoddy. Unfortunately builders and developers in this area do a great job putting a gilt facade over poor workmanship (notice major issues with several "New" "luxury" homes in our community.)

Perhaps the community would consider instigating a lawsuit against the contracters who first installed this shoddy structure. Perhaps we could force them to repair and or replace the damaged unit?Bring your questions and concerns to HOA meetings. It is still the best way to be heard! Remeber the officers of the HOA are volunteers and need your help to make our community great!"

I agree with following up on the fountain issue. I have lived in this community 3 yrs now and when we were looking at the house we were told by our realtor it was to be fixed. If we have a warranty issue on it then we need to exercise it before the statute of limitations runs out.
